Spring Term 2016 – Welcome back!

Happy New Year.

I hope you all had a restful holiday and that we are all in the mood for some serious learning!

My assembly this morning covered – a chance for a new start – a new term with new challenges and new learning opportunities. We said we want happy children, who are actively engaged in their learning, who want to succeed and want to meet their goals.

We revisited our Full Learning Contracts, where we all have a responsibility to create a pervasive learning atmosphere in and around school.

We revisited our ‘Loving Family’ where we actively look after each other, every day and manage our feelings and our fall-outs.

We discussed what will people see around school in the classrooms, dining room, playground etc if we all look after ourselves and others, do our best and are all active, resilient learners, who strive for success.

A happy, creative and loving school for every pupil, every day. This is our goal for 2016.

So….. there is much to be done between now and Easter in the Spring term and we have time to do it.

We have 6 weeks and 5 weeks and 4 days in school until Easter.

That’s 59 days in school – which is 295 hours, which is 17,700 minutes of time to progress in all we do.

Happy learning folks.
