Mayoral Visit to School

We welcomed the Mayor for South Ribble and the Consort to officially open our Pond and the MUGA this morning.

We then went to the School Pond where the Mayor gave a speech and cut the red ribbon on the pond.

We then went in to the pond for a photograph. This area will now be used by all our pupils to enhance our curriculum and to increase the wildlife in our school grounds.

This will be used by all KS 2 pupils for football, netball, cricket and in PE.

The Mayor and the Consort then toured the school and visited the Forest School which was in full flow and then said hello to all the pupils in every class.

We were really pleased to receive this official visit from the Mayor and Consort and very proud to show off our school with marvellous resources and fantastic children.

Thank you Mr Mayor and Consort.
