Forest School

Climbing trees and letting children be children is back in the news.

We believe children should learn about the outdoors, outdoors, in all weathers. We believe they need basic skills about the outdoors – lighting fires safely, whittling wood, finding bugs, climbing trees, squashing mud, painting with nature, making nature mobiles, looking up at the sky and looking underneath stones and picking up the creatures and bugs that live there.

We believe children should learn about the world they live in and then have a roasted marshmallow and a drink of hot chocolate afterwards.
